In that case 'you're up the creek without a paddle', as we like to say here. Newer versions of Quicken are geared specifically towards the US and Canadian markets and do NOT allow download or import of transactions from banks outside this area. Loopholes available in older versions of Quicken are being closed. Hang on for a couple of days. Maybe some of the other Community users will speak up with a possible workaround.

Isn't there software available from Dutch, German or other EU countries that you can use instead and that does support downloading from your banks? I know that there's a company in Germany that makes a 'Quicken-like' product for Windows: I just don't know if they have a Mac version and/or one that supports Dutch banks. So called loopholes are being closed for the Windows version. Have not seen anything similar for Mac, what the OP is asking about, though CSV2OFX is a WIndows-based product. Which puzzles me. @Marcel Kroon, please confirm if you are using Mac or Windows version of Quicken. If Mac, I would try loading the QFX into a new account and see if it loads anything.

If so, the problem may be that Quicken is identifying the transactions as already loaded.you cannot process the same QFX file more than once as Quicken keeps track of the transaction ID to see if it was been loaded before into that specific account (to prevent duplicates). One work-around is to re-process the same QFX is to open that file in any text editor and modify the transaction IDs (e.g.

Add an extra character). Then Quicken should load the transactions. (If you find this reply helpful, please be sure to click 'Like', so others will know, thanks.).

Yes I read that Quicken only supports US and Canadian banks. But an QFX file does not allow Quicken to see that it is from a Dutch bank so it should work. It also has worked because I have imported about a month worth of data. I have done extensive research in accounting software and they where all very weak. I even find Quicken not that good. I used to work with Microsoft Money which had much more functionality. If you move money from one account to another account Money recognises this as a transfer, Quicken doesn't.

But as far as I could see Quicken was still better than the rest. This is an interesting concept.still not sure how MS Money does it.when downloading from each bank, downloads do not contain any info about the other bank, or even different account with same bank. So just to clarify, is this a transfer between accounts at the same bank? How did MS Money get the info to link the 2 specific transactions.it is not part of the OFX/QFX data set AFAIK? Is the transfer in MS Money initiated within MS Money first?
